  1. 2 cups Murmura / Puffed rice
  2. 1 cup finely chopped Onion
  3. 1/4 cup Roasted chana dal
  4. 1/4 cup Roasted peanut powder
  5. 1/4 tsp Hing / Asafetida
  6. 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder Salt to taste
  7. 2-3 Finely chopped Green chilies
  8. leaves Curry
  9. leaves Finely chopped Coriander
  10. 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  11. 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds 2 tbsp Oil And shev

Steps to make Sushila recipe

  1. Take roasted chana dal into a mortar and pound it into a coarse powder. Do not make a fine powder.

    You can use a blender for this.

    In a bowl take murmura and add water.

    Soak murmura in water for about a minute and drain water from it.

    Transfer the soaked and drained murmura into a dish.

    Heat up oil in a pan.
  2. Add mustard seeds and let them pop up.

    Add cumin seeds and let them sputter.

    Add hing, onion, curry leaves, and green chili.

    Mix well and fry until onion cooks soft and gets light golden color.

    You can add red chili powder instead of green chili.

    Add turmeric powder and mix well.

    Add pounded roasted chana dal, roasted peanut powder, salt and stir well.
